Updated Dec. 26, 2021 with new CDC guidelines. I am vaccinated (and boosted) and have been leading tours outside w/o masking, though I can of course wear a mask if preferred. According to the CDC's advice (pre-Delta variant), as per the New York Times, federal health officials have "advised that Americans who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus may stop wearing masks or maintaining social distance in most indoor and outdoor settings, regardless of size." However, masks are still required in NYC on public transit and in stores. We can discuss. Regarding the Omicron variant, the CDC "continues to recommend wearing a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high community transmission, regardless of vaccination status."
